Full-time (36 hours flexible)

Salary range: £34,002 to £57,975 per annum (dependent on experience)

Spelthorne has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Contract and Procurement Lawyer to join its busy in-house legal team.

We are looking for a lawyer with a proven track record of dealing with a complex workload to support the Council’s fast moving property development strategy, as well as undertaking a varied contracts workload to support the work of all departments across the authority.

You will provide high quality support and advice to colleagues and officers of the Council as well as providing support and supervision to other members of the team to assist with their learning and development. We are looking for a positive, flexible and self-motivated lawyer who contributes to good team spirit in our small but friendly team.

In exchange, the Council offers support in continuing your professional development as well as a wide range of employment benefits.

Please note that this role is currently home based as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. This is kept under constant review.
