Corporate Manager - Legal & Procurement

Permanent contract (37 hours per week - happy to discuss flexible working)

Grade L - Up to £59,183 p.a

(Starting salary dependent upon skills and qualifications, progression subject to satisfactory performance)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Manager - Legal & Procurement, to join our successful Law and Governance Service.

The postholder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality legal support and advice so that the Council meets the highest standards of probity, efficiency and effectiveness in its decision-making.

You will provide effective strategic leadership and professional guidance within the Council, as well as provide support and legal advice to comply with statutory requirements and uphold standing orders in a challenging and evolving legal environment.

You will act as the Council’s Deputy Statutory Monitoring Officer, discharging all relevant statutory responsibilities relating to Corporate Governance functions.
