We are based in South West London and in normal times, our team can work out of any of 5 locations as well as remotely - agile working has been business as usual for a long time in SLLP. This opportunity is for a Legal Assistants to join our Social Care & Education Team undertaking exciting opportunities to handle a variety and interesting workload for 5 London Boroughs (Merton, Richmond, Sutton, Kingston and Wandsworth. As part of your role, you will assist and support lawyers across the Shared Legal Service in conducting care proceedings and providing legal advice to Children’s Services. You will also hold your own caseload of private law matters. SLLP are committed to developing individuals’ legal skills and will provide exciting personal development opportunities as well as career progression in a supportive environment.
We offer the opportunity to work with professional clients, to enhance your knowledge of care proceedings from a local authority perspective and the opportunity to provide training to clients.
