We provide a wide range of legal services to the London Boroughs of Merton, Richmond, Sutton and Wandsworth and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, making us the largest local authority shared legal service in the Country. As such, we are able to offer employment opportunities across all aspects of local government legal work. We are based in South West London and in normal times, our team can work out of any of 5 locations as well as remotely - agile working has been business as usual for a long time in SLLP. We have a wide range of flexible working options and have developed a number of health and well-being initiatives over the years.

An exciting and rare opportunity to join a busy and established Adult Social Care Team serving 5 Boroughs covering the all areas of advice and representation regarding Adult Social Care Law relating to those over 18. The work will cover and is not limited to the following areas; all forms of Court of Protection litigation including and not limited to s21A applications, welfare applications, DOLS advice and litigation, Coroner’s inquests, Judicial Review challenges, Ordinary Residence disputes, Mental Health law and advice, Continuing Health Care disputes, Assessments and service disputes under the Care Act 2014, Advice on Charging under the Care Act 2014, Advice regarding no recourse to public funds and much more.
