Invicta Law’s Planning & Highways team prides itself on providing comprehensive and proactive advice and support at competitive rates to local authority and public sector clients. We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Solicitor to join our expanding team of experienced professionals.

In addition to providing high quality legal advice and drafting and negotiating s106 agreements, the team advises on Judicial Reviews and planning litigation, Development Consent Orders and Compulsory Purchase.

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor with at least 4 years’ experience in key areas of planning law and ideally of working within a local authority. Experience in highways law would also be an advantage.

The successful candidate will have the ability to manage their own caseload and work effectively to high professional standards, including being able to respond quickly and accurately to urgent matters and deadlines.

(The PQE above is a guideline only and does not preclude applications from those with less PQE)

  • Work with the team and advise upon all aspects of Planning work
  • Draft and negotiate s106 agreements and deeds of variation

  • Maintain good working relationships with clients.
