37 HOURS PER WEEK

£36,922 - £42,821 plus £3,000 pa Deputy Monitoring Officer allowance
 
We are seeking a full-time Solicitor. The main duties of the post holder will be dealing with litigation, licensing, data protection and general local government law issues serving the three authorities of Lichfield District, South Staffordshire District and Tamworth Borough Councils. The postholder will also act as Deputy Monitoring Officer for South Staffordshire Council.

Successful applicants will already be admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court and have experience of both criminal and civil litigation and data protection; some experience of another area of local government law would be desirable but is not essential.

Consideration will be given to applicants wishing to work on a part-time basis.
Where we receive a high number of applications we may long list and conduct a telephone interview or Assessment Test before short listing for interview.
