Salary: Grade 9 £38,813 to £42,683 (Bar at £41,675) per annum

Hours: 35 per week

Work Location: Town Hall Extension, off Mount Street, City Centre, Manchester, M2 5DB

Qualification(s) Required: Yes, must be a solicitor, barrister or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives

Manchester City Council Legal Services is the largest shared legal service in the country, providing high-quality, value-for-money legal services to all departments of Manchester and Salford City Councils. We also act for a number of external clients including the Greater Manchester Combined Authority.

We are now recruiting to a key role to support the delivery of a wide range of construction and other regeneration projects for a number of clients. You will have strong experience handling, drafting and negotiating construction contracts and will support other procurement, contracting and project delivery activities of the Councils.

You will have a track record of inspiring confidence in commercial colleagues and excellent communication skills. You will have an ability to work flexibly and to be responsive to the needs of clients.
