Job Description:

£46,561 to £49,575 per annum

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated solicitor or barrister to manage the Housing and Litigation Team within Legal Services:

The main areas of work covered by the team are: (1) housing and anti-social behaviour; (2) public health and regulatory law; (3) licensing; and (4) civil litigation and criminal prosecutions.

As Team Manager, you must have extensive recent experience of at least one of the areas of practice set out above and experience of at least one other of those areas.

Applicants will also ideally have recent experience of managing or supervising staff. You will lead, manage and encourage the Team to provide an efficient and cost-effective service.

You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to develop strong working relationships with a range of internal and external partners
