Adult Lawyer opportunity in Cornwall

(2 year fixed term contract)

The fixed term Adult Lawyer post will encompass all adult social care legal work including, but not limited to, Court of Protection applications and undertaking your own advocacy. You will be responsible for a personal case load of some straightforward and semi-complex and complex legal matters within the Adult Social Care Legal Team. You will be expected to provide legal advice on politically sensitive and high-risk matters. The successful candidate will assist the Team Manager and Senior Lawyers on their matters and will also support the Legal Assistants and Trainees within the team. You will have a degree level or equivalent qualification and relevant professional qualification and membership of a relevant professional body - Solicitor or Barrister or Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives typically with relevant post-qualification experience. 
 
This is a 2-year fixed term contract due to additional funding.
