We are seeking an Enforcement Lawyer to join our Enforcement Legal Team. We can provide you with varied and exciting work in a dynamic business environment.

The team is based in stunning modern offices overlooking London City Airport, directly next to public transport to central London.
 
About You
You will provide legal expertise in enforcement law; contributing to the delivery of high quality, solution focused legal work, to clients in both Newham and Havering. 

You will be expected to cover a range of enforcement matters such as Criminal Regulatory Prosecutions in the Magistrates and Crown Court. This will include Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Fraud, and planning enforcement matters.

In addition you will cover Anti Social Behaviour matters such as Closure Order and ASB Injunctions, Appeals in the First Tier Property Tribunal and Licensing Appeals.

You will also be expected to act as the legal adviser at Licensing Sub committee hearings for matters under the Licensing Act 2003 in which training will be provided if necessary.

You will have excellent legal research skills including using online resources and have the ability to apply this to practical situations. Possessing good oral and written communication skills you will be adept at drafting concise written advice, authorisations for prosecution, briefs to counsel, licensing sub committee decisions and other formal legal documentation.

In addition you will possess awareness and understanding of client needs alongside excellent client care skills.
