Job Description:

Up to £44,964, plus a ‘golden hello’ payment equivalent to 10% of the successful applicant’s starting salary - terms and conditions apply.

*is assigned an experienced and highly motivated paralegal to provide dedicated case work support ;
*has the opportunity to focus on quality written and verbal advice work;
*has space and time to undertake advocacy where appropriate (we encourage advocacy but are not an ‘in-house advocacy team’);
*has the opportunity to mentor colleagues in the team, particularly paralegals. 
*has high quality supervision and support from their management team (two team leaders and an Assistant Head of Law all very experienced in this area of law) ;
*has effective IT systems in place to enable flexible and efficient working away from the office.

In addition we offer a work culture that reflects the councils’ core values of trust and respect, positivity, flexibility and openness and transparency.

We recognise the importance of a proper work/life balance and employee wellbeing, offering a generous pension, access to a lifestyle benefits programme, a campus equipped with a canteen, shop and restaurant which is very close to good transport networks and offering free on site staff car parking.
