This is a key role providing an excellent opportunity to use your legal expertise to contribute to the development of an agile and ambitious authority.

Our significant investment in Camberley Town Centre is a crucial part of our regeneration scheme to revitalise the area for residents and businesses - and safeguard the future of local services.

As an essential member of the Corporate Management Team, you will be expected to provide robust high-quality legal advice on a wide range of areas, supporting both officers and elected members. You will use your expertise to find innovative and creative solutions to complex issues.

As the Council's Monitoring Officer, you will be responsible for promoting good governance.  You will be politically aware, and combine a successful track-record in legal services with experience in supporting strategic corporate direction.

Ideally located in a beautiful part of the South East, with great links to London and beyond, Surrey Heath BC offers an attractive setting for the next step in your career.
